Passion and creativity shines at Wynwood Arts District, Miami

The Wynwood Arts District located north of downtown Miami is a warehouse district. It’s a current project of Goldman Properties for the purpose of developing a trendy hub of art to bring visitors off the beaten track of Miami. Since 2009 it’s developed to represent the heart of Miami’s street art scene right now, I was fortunate to have the chance to check it out on my trip to Miami earlier this year. ‘Tropical Sailing’ in Florida

As part of my visit to Florida, I really wanted a chance to get out onto the water and experience some fun in the sun. How much of Miami can you see in 48 hours?

Port of Miami, FloridaI recently wrote an article for Attraction Tix that’s now featured on their blog. It’s a review of Miami’s Hop-on, Hop-off tour bus that serves visitors to the city in Florida seven days a week.

Here’s a snippet of the article:

I recently spent two days exploring the city of Miami using the Miami Hop-On Hop-Off Bus tour. This bus company provides services 7 days a week to take visitors around Miami on two different routes; the city and the beach!

The tour was an extensive hop on, hop off tour which gives you the chance to opt for 24 or 48 hours of sightseeing in the city.

Whether you choose the city or beach route, each tour lasts for 90 minutes in total, giving you plenty of time to take in the views and stop off at as many points as you like, as many times as you like within the validity of your ticket. There is also the option to add a 90-minute boat ride to the homes of the rich and famous, around areas like Fisher Island and Star Island. After juggling a few things around, my flight was booked and I’d written back to Grace at Miami Culinary Tours to confirm that I would, in fact, be happy to accept a place on the tour. Continue reading South Beach Food Tour with Miami Culinary Tours
