As the new year approaches, I chose to reflect on 2013 and my year in travel. It’s certainly been my busiest yet, from New York to Brazil, Lisbon to Jamaica, my trips have been as varied and spontaneous as ever to fit into an ever-busy schedule.
Formerly known as the Carnival Destiny, the Carnival Sunshine is part of the fleet owned by Carnival Cruises with a passenger capacity for over 3,000 people. Measuring over 892 ft long and with the potential for more than 1,000 crew, it’s a combination of relaxation, enjoyment and ultimately fun!
The Carnival Destiny went into dry dock in Trieste, Italy in 2013 where it was refitted and renamed Carnival Sunshine. It’s been an amazing year and has continued to go from strength to strength; I’ve appreciated and enjoyed every trip that has come my way and there is so much more to come – which brings me into this blog post. Whilst reflecting on 2012, I’ve been busy setting out a growing list of travel plans for 2013 – get a sneaky preview of the first quarter of the year outlined below.
